PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)
The Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) is an industry initiative backed by government. PDP ensures tanker drivers in the UK are trained and assessed in loading, transporting and offloading petroleum fuel products from road tankers.

The PDP will allow you to access terminals and refineries upon completing the course.

The passport is renewed every five years, but also has an annual practical assessment and an annual classroom training requirement.

To qualify for a Petroleum Driver Passport (PD Passport) you must take:

-
classroom training with a multiple choice exam
-
a practical assessment
Both need to be completed every five years.

You have four months to pass both parts.
